Farata AKA Vinoda

Farata AKA Vinoda is the most famous roti street food van kitchen in Flic en Flac. Roti (also called "farata", "paratha", or "dholl puri") is a Mauritian snack, like a pancake made of wheat flour and water stuffed with various ingredients and different curries. The two owners are very open and sincerely friendly. Since the van is really popular, you can spend more than an hour in a long queue on the beach. So we recommend placing an order in advance and for a bunch of them at once.

For our founders' personal taste (US-EU), we recommend trying the following dishes from Hich Lounge "as a must":
- Roti Veg (with beans, spinach, and souse) 🫔🫘
- Roti Lamb (with beans, agneau, and souse) 🫔🐑
